3. How We Use Information

Data may be used to:

  • provide Ceiga services,
  • manage user accounts,
  • enable communication between users,
  • operate public and private chats,
  • ensure platform security,
  • detect spam and abuse,
  • moderate content,

Ceiga may use trusted third-party artificial intelligence services, including Google Gemini, to improve certain platform features. Artificial intelligence may be used to analyze publicly shared content, improve content categorization, personalize recommendations, detect spam or abuse, and support moderation. Selected public videos may be analyzed after reaching certain engagement thresholds using a limited number of video frames to improve recommendation quality. Ceiga does not use artificial intelligence to analyze the contents of users' private messages for recommendation purposes.

4. Public Information

Some information may be visible to other users, including:

  • username,
  • public profile elements,
  • profile photo,
  • public posts,
  • comments,
  • messages published on public chats.

Avatars and nicknames used in chats may be separate from the user's main profile where the platform functionality allows.

5. Private Messages

Private messages are intended solely for conversation participants.

Ceiga does not routinely monitor private messages. In exceptional circumstances, such as abuse reports, legal requirements, protection of user safety, or platform security, limited processing of message-related data may be necessary.

6. Cookies and Analytics

Ceiga may use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • maintain login sessions,
  • improve platform performance,
  • analyze how the service is used,
  • remember user preferences,
  • personalize content and advertisements.

Disabling cookies may limit the operation of certain features.

7. Advertising

Ceiga may work with Google AdMob and other advertising providers.

Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to display and personalize ads in accordance with applicable regulations.

Users may manage ad settings through their browser settings or the ad provider's services.

8. Data Storage and Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data.

Passwords are stored in a secured form, and data is protected in accordance with widely accepted security practices.

Despite the safeguards in place, no online service can guarantee one hundred percent data security.

9. Data Retention

We retain data for as long as necessary to provide Ceiga services, ensure platform security, fulfill legal obligations, or until the user deletes their account.

If account deletion is initiated, data may be retained for up to 30 days to allow the user to cancel the deletion process.

After account deletion, data may be deleted or anonymized in accordance with applicable regulations and technical requirements.

10. Third-Party Service Providers

Ceiga uses external infrastructure providers necessary for the platform to operate.

In particular:

  • Supabase may be used to handle databases, user authentication, storage of account information, messages, posts, notifications, and other data related to platform operation.
  • Object storage (publicly accessible via Cloudflare CDN) may be used to store files uploaded by users, such as photos, avatars, profile covers, and other multimedia.
  • Google Gemini may process limited parts of publicly shared content, such as selected video frames, where necessary to improve recommendations, content categorization, moderation, spam detection, or abuse prevention.

Third-party providers process data only to the extent necessary to provide the relevant Ceiga feature or service.

11. User Content

Users are responsible for content they publish, including:

  • posts,
  • comments,
  • messages,
  • photos,
  • videos,
  • avatars,
  • cover images.

Ceiga may remove content that violates the Terms of Service, applicable law, or community safety.

12. Children's Privacy

Ceiga is intended solely for persons who have reached the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 18 years of age.

Year of birth may be processed for age verification and to determine whether a user meets the requirements to create an account.

13. User Rights

Users may request:

  • access to their data,
  • correction of data,
  • deletion of data,
  • restriction of data processing.

Requests regarding personal data may be sent to:

support@ceiga.net

14. Account Deletion and Suspensions

Users may delete their account using features available in the application or by contacting support@ceiga.net.

After a deletion request is submitted, the account will be marked for deletion and may be permanently deleted after a waiting period of up to 30 days. During this time, the user may log in again and cancel the account deletion process.

After the deletion process is completed, user data will be deleted or anonymized to the extent required by applicable law, platform technical requirements, and legitimate needs related to security and service integrity.

Ceiga may suspend or delete a user account, among other reasons, in cases of:

  • violation of the Terms of Service,
  • abuse toward other users,
  • publishing illegal content,
  • attempts at unauthorized access to systems,
  • actions that may threaten the security of the platform or its users.

If an account is suspended, certain data may be retained for the period necessary to process appeals, prevent abuse, or fulfill legal obligations.

15. Page Shops data processing

For Page Shops, Ceiga may process order, delivery, payment-declaration, dispute, evidence, moderation, restriction, appeal, notification, and security-audit data to operate orders, prevent abuse, resolve payment disputes, enforce Shop rules, and meet legal obligations.

Proof-of-payment evidence is private dispute information. It is not publicly accessible via CDN. Access is limited to the submitting buyer, the related seller as needed to identify the transaction, and authorized Ceiga moderators/administrators. Retention periods are backend-configured and evidence is not deleted while a dispute, appeal, or related review remains open, or where legal/security preservation is required.

16. Changes to the Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy may be updated periodically.

Continued use of Ceiga after changes are introduced constitutes acceptance of the new version of the Privacy Policy, subject to applicable law.
